This is the reason why my non-retina Macbook Pro is better. I could easily
replace battery and/or other parts and upgrade RAM easier.

Does the macbook pro nonretina and the retina has the same bolts or are

that 'memory stick' is not the memory... lol. people who know anything
about computers know that when referring to MEMORY you are referring to the
RAM (random access memory).... that 'memory stick' is inface the PCI-E
based SSD (solid state drive).... the RAM is soldered onto the
motherboard... so you cant remove it or upgrade it after the fact.

Where is the hard drive located on 13 inch macbook pro?
Flawless Pants (1 year ago)
What about the display
Conor Walker (1 year ago)
there is no hard drive, it uses SSD (solid state drive), almost same as the
the storage in a usb stick

It looks like you get to the track pad around 13 minutes, is there a
shorter way to get to the track pad? I just need to clean it because it not
as responsive as before.

im a trainee computer engineer am I the only 1 who thinks ram built onto
the mb is a bad idea? what if the ram fails? I think I will be buying a
regular MacBook pro :)

What's the point of this video? .. does it mean we can upgrade the mbpR in
the Future?
Matthew Pinn (1 year ago)

it looks like the slot for the SSD could hold a regular 2,5 inch HDD.
judging by the extra space and the fact that their are what looks like
screw holes for a HDD... is it possible to mount a 2,5 inch drive in the
compartment instead of the SSD provided?
