It feels like Sera really disappointed, many people. From concept art, and
various descriptions, she came off as a fun character that you'd love to
have in your party, 24/7.
However, everything just seems so wrong. She's not funny, she's not very
interesting, and at times just down right annoying. Her voice actress,
while great for the part, just seems to speed through her lines, like she
doesn't even know what to make of herself, either.

Sera has to be the most immature and frivolous characters I have ever seen
in a video game. She acts like a 13 or 14 year old child, not someone that
has been through a hellish life and in their 20s. In all Seriousness, I
just started playing DAI myself and am going to keep her at a distance at
best. Thank the gods that she is only a female PC love interest, because
she would be the last choice for my character. And have to agree that the
timing of her dialog seems to rushed and frantic. They could have used a
few audio tools to adjusts the voice files so they didn't seem so rushed.
Of all the romance videos for DAI i have seen this is the only one I wished
was slowed down by 5%. I think I had whiplash after watching it. And that
is not a statement on your video editing technique Stardusk. I don't think
anyone could have pieced this together as well as you did, its just what
you had to work with, lol

In all of her simplistic childishness there are hints of the greater truth
in some of her worried ramblings. Like the inconsistency between elven
"gods" and the Maker. She may have the demon thing wrong, but she's
probably right about the elven gods were no gods at all.
But, anyway, it's great to see the dwarf side of things. Lots of specific
comments.

Sera= one of the most annoying ugliest horrific stupid characters in this
whole game. I fucking hate her with that high ass voice and her stupid ass
jokes. She's a burden to society in that game she is fucking useless man I
should of turned her down fuck me.

I just can't see her as a romance!! She's so.... snappy, hyperactively
deranged, I feel like she's the little sister type where you're
simultaneously charmed yet annoyed by her. Not my sort at all! I'm a little
bummed about that, I wanted to romance her until she opened her mouth xD

I don't think Bioware did a bad job of creating Sera, they actually did a
brilliant job in making a character that is so easy to hate as well as
like. She's not like some other characters in video games who are perfect
and hold all the right ideals. She's flawed, she's ignorant and writes off
things she doesn't understand, and she's overly hyperactive and silly. But
she's also actually pretty wise about a lot of stuff too. I'd much prefer
her to Bioware putting another bog-standard slightly "quirky" character in
her place. They actually did really well in making real characters, with
different opinions, even if they were overly unpopular.

I have to say that Sera is probably my favorite character of the new cast
(pretty much a tie with Cassandra). She brings me much needed smiley time
in a game full of frowns. So far, I've romanced her with 4 different
Inquisitors each of a difference race. I try to stray away and commit to
other relationships, but I always end up back at her door.

There´s something really really wrong with Sera´s face.
Just stop it at 13:40, it looks as if she had a really bad botox job. Or
13:44, there she looks like a blonde even uglier version of Gollum.
