how long did it take you to grow out your hair? and which is better,
admiral or uppercut?

Went to the barber yesterday, and had them shave in my part. Saves so much
time/energy. Anyways, great review.

How come you don't review any of the Hanz De Fuko products like for example
Modify Pomade?

“Straight off the bat”, this pomade is pure crap. Strong hold? Zero hold is
what it is. I have thick hair, 5 inches in length. I've applied this to
both dry and towel dry hair... And nothing. No hold. At all. Even when it's
dried after about 40 minutes!

it's 30 degrees celsius and about 85% humidity this morning. have used this
pomade before with wet hair as an occasional alternative to oil-based
pomades -- to degrease for a day or two -- and it felt like gel. tried with
dry hair today. disclaimer: my barnet is really thick and wavy ... have to
say the result is the worst i've experienced. i could feel it tightening on
my hair before i had even started combing it through. used quite a bit and
my hair was all over the place -- ended up using two fingers of a light
oil-based pomade just to rescue. never again ...

Admiral vs. Imperial Classic. What do you think after trying Imperial?

You guys all know these recipes are all the same. All you do is hire a
company to copy the ingredients using generic ingredients. So if i want a
water based pomade ill hire a company to find out what ingredients are in
say, "Admiral pomade" and theyll mix it up for me and then i can relabel w
my own brand and call it whatever the fuck i want. This is no different
than Suavecito, layrite, or any other water based pomade. It all comes down
to marketing.
