This is how I know that deep down, Lord Jamar is a simple dude. He's
knowledgeable on topics that he clearly experienced (namely everything
music-industry related) but talks semi-batshit on bigger topics. Dipset
made some of the most retarded music in the 2000s. Aside from a couple of
obvious bangers (e.g. Dipset Anthem), them niccas were trizzash!

you rap that slow and still have to make up words to make the shit rhyme?

I'm kinda surprised at all of the Dipset slander here. I'm not saying that
they were the greatest of all-time, but that Diplomatic Immunity double
disc was nice...and of course some of them had quite a bit of solo success,
as well (especially Cam - he had some solid albums). They were legitimate
trend-setters and they were running shit for awhile in the early 2000s.
As for Max B, I've always felt that he had that charisma and "X factor". If
I sat here and tried to explain that he was a great rapper and/or singer
I'd feel like I was reaching...but I'd be lying my ass off if I said I
didn't enjoy some his music. He made some of the waviest music for when
you're driving around in the late night. I always keep some Max B music in
my car. I think he could've been a big deal if he didn't get locked up.
He'd probably be on all kinds of hooks.
